Books edited by Ron Kenner have won Ben Franklin, IPPY, Nautilus, Eric Hoffer, SIBA, D.I.Y., Next Generation Indies, National Best Books and other major awards ….

Ron has edited more than seventy-five published books — but what’s new with RKedit? (See 2009 awards) In 2007, a book for which Ron is listed as editor, Orléans Embrace with The Secret Gardens of the Vieux Carré*, was the most nominated finalist (in five categories) in the 4,200-plus publisher member PMA’s (Independent Book Publishers) Ben Franklin awards. In addition to Orleans Embrace… winning Best First Book Nonfiction and Best New Voice Nonfiction, two follow-up Morgana Press books edited by Ron won major awards in 2008 and 2009.

As well as stellar reviews and other recognition, Orléans Embrace won PMA gold Ben Franklins for Best New Voice nonfiction (first book by a new author) and Best First Book nonfiction (initial title by a new publisher). As well as recent gold medals for Orléans Embrace, another book edited by Ron previously won PMA's prestigious Benjamin Franklin gold medal (2004) in the category of Autobiography / Memoir: Reflections in the Ice: Inside the Heart and Mind of an Olympic Champion, by Derek Parra, with Patrick Quinn, Podium Publishing.
